Overview of CHAD

The Centre for Health (CHAD) is a not-for-profit limited company incorporated in Malawi in accordance with the Companies Act, 2013. CHAD has over 8-years’ experience in research, consultancies and management of program funds and has a very good track record working with a multiplicity of agencies that include UNICEF, USAID, CIFF, SCI Foundation to mention but a few. CHAD’s expertise the following Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH); Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs); Cancer Research; Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), and Climate change.

CHAD has a very good working relationship with partners in including the Malawi Ministry of Health Reproductive Health Division (RHD), BLM, FHS/PSI, FPAM, CHAI, Nkhoma Mission Hospital, FHI360, Project Concern International, USAID/University of North Carolina, University of Edinburgh, Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, Task Force for Global Health, Schistosomiasis Control Initiative (SCI), AIDS Fonds, Plan International Malawi, Malawi Blood Transfusion, PSI, BAOBAB Health Trust, Save the Children International, among others.

We are group of professionals having vivid experience and wide exposure in Research and Development forms CHAD. People involved here are both young and seasoned qualified experts in Public Health,

Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH); Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs); Cancer Research; Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), and Climate change with qualifications and experience from the renowned universities and institutions across the globe. 

The resource personnel working in the company have been consistently providing reliable support services and consultancy to a wide variety of corporate organizations and governments in the capacity of executive or as business partner or consultant. Bottom line of the company philosophy is providing a long-term partnership with its clients where interpersonal relationship, reliability, assured quality and target oriented services are the major building blocks.

Our History

Centre for Health & Development, Research and Consulting (CHAD) started as a partnership in 2016 and later was incorporated as a limited company in 2018, and it operates as a not-for-profit organisation. CHAD worked closely with the government of Malawi, especially the Ministry of Health (MoH), to carry out different studies, conduct consultancies for implementing agents in health, socioeconomic development, environment protection, and in disease control programs and manage donor funds by international organisation for different programs.

CHAD focuses exclusively on high quality, cost-effective and impactful research, development, and implementation in Public Health, Climate Change, and Economic Growth Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH). This is made possible with the involvement of skilled and experienced experts. CHAD has run projects in government, international NGOs & agencies, CSO, academia and partnered with international and local firms.
